    The Troubles continue in SymphonyWorld™

    Back in the fall, I was trying to blog about the latest developments in the orchestra world, which were wild and crazy. The Atlanta Symphony was briefly on strike, and virtually every other orchestra was touched by what seemed to be an industry meltdown. Typically, the start of the symphony season sees a bit of upheaval in the fall as new seasons and new contracts start. 

    This year seemed to be different, though, and I started having a hard time keeping up- not only were there so many developments, but as things failed to happen here with my little orchestra here in Hawaii, it became progressively more depressing.

    I was collecting articles and links, but eventually gave up.
